John Downing elected Vice Chairman
Congratulations to John W. Downing Jr. who was elected Vice Chairman by unanimous vote at the CRCC winter meeting on January 27th. Many thanks to outgoing Vice Chairman Michael Selva for his years of service.
GREAT SCOTT!
Congratulations to Scott Brown, the 41st Senate vote against the health care monstrosity. We now have a voice in Washington who says things like: “In dealing with terrorists, our tax dollars should pay for weapons to stop them, not lawyers to defend them.”
That’s Change we can believe in.
Brown's $625,000 (And Counting) Day [NRO 1/11/10]
What a day for Scott Brown, the Massachusetts Republican vying for Teddy Kennedy’s former U.S. Senate seat. In recent days, polls have shown Brown steadily closing the gap in what’s become a surprisingly close race against Democrat Martha Coakley. To build on his momentum, Brown went to the web today to raise more cash for his surging campaign. Brown hoped to raise half-a-million dollars in a day, and boy, did his supporters come out in droves. As of 5:00 p.m., Brown has raised over $625,000 dollars via his “Red Invades Blue” campaign.
